We act primarily as a Data Processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act, India), processing personal data only on behalf of our client organizations (“Data Fiduciaries”).

2. Role of SimplifyIND

• We do not own or control candidate data.

• Employers (our clients) act as Data Fiduciaries and are responsible for:

  • Informing candidates about how their data will be used.

• SimplifyIND only processes and stores candidate data as per instructions from employers.

3. Information We Process
   Depending on employer instructions, this may include:

• Candidate details (such as name, contact, resume, skills, video interview responses).

• Employer details (such as organization name, contact persons, job postings).

• Technical and platform usage data (such as login details, access logs).

4. Purpose of Processing
   We process data only to provide our recruitment platform services, such as:

• Hosting job postings.

• Facilitating candidate assessments and interviews.

• Enabling secure communication between candidates and employers.

• Maintaining platform security and integrity.

We do not process data for any independent commercial purpose.

5. Candidate Rights
   Candidates have rights under the DPDP Act, including:

• Access, correction, and erasure of their personal data. (through the employer).

• Withdrawal of consent (through the employer).

SimplifyIND will assist employers in fulfilling these rights upon request.

6. Data Sharing

• Candidate data is accessible only to the employer who uploaded it.

• SimplifyIND does not sell or share candidate data with any third parties for marketing.

• Data may be disclosed only if legally required by authorities.

7. Data Retention

• Data is retained only as long as required by the employer.

• Upon employer instruction or withdrawal of candidate consent, data will be securely deleted.

8. Data Security
   SimplifyIND applies strong safeguards to protect stored data:

• Encrypted data storage and transmission.

• Role-based access control for authorised users only.

• Regular security monitoring and audits.
